Due to a recent virus outbreak, our studio will be implementing new measures to ensure the maximum care for all parties attending photo sessions. Please take a moment to read the guidelines below to learn more.

  • All props are sanitized and KURIN. It is a Japanese-innovation cleaning product made with super alkaline ionized water. It is the greenest and safest in the market. This will be used on top of the strict precautionary measures.

  • We regularly use Force of Nature, a non-chemical disinfectant, in sanitizing both our Studio and Client's home  photoshoot area. Force of Nature is on the EPA’s List N, the federal EPA’s list of products approved for use against SARS-CoV-2, and proven effective to use against COVID-19 virus.

  • UVCare UV-C germicidal sterilizer a hospital grade UVC lamp to sterilize, deodorize and disinfect our studio. It is effective to eliminate 99.9% of airborne viruses, bacteria, allergens, molds, mites, bed bugs and other pathogens.

  • 59S UV Sterilizer Bag, a portable sterilizer that can disinfect small items anytime needed. For props provided by the client, we require to sterilize it first prior usage.

  • Mi Air Purifier 3H  air filtration unit for the waiting area. It has true HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air).

  • Both photographer and assistant wear HygiCare Asia  Antibacterial Necklace / Buckle to protect you and your family from harmful virus and bacteria, regardless of health situation. The Chlorine Dioxide (CLO2) sustained release technology continuously releases gas until virus/bacteria are eliminated in the wearer’s space.

  • Surfaces in the studio/photoshoot area are disinfected using Lysol disinfectant wipes. Lysol is also on the EPA's List N  that is proven effective against COVID-19 virus.

  • Studio has regular fogging disinfection.

  • No shoes allowed upon studio entry, please leave them at the door or use foot sock.

  • Hand washing and alcohol is a must upon entry into the studio. Hand sanitizer is available for use.

  • Body temperature will be checked upon entry.

  • Photographer and assistant will be wearing a face mask.

  • We require to maintain 6-feet distance between us at all times.

  • All seating areas and studio usage will be sanitized and sterilized after every appointment.

Seasonal / Annual Flu Vaccine (2020 Formula)

We are currently up to date on the necessary vaccines needed when working with a pregnant or newborn population.

"While the influenza vaccine is not effective against COVID-19 virus, it is highly recommended to get vaccinated each year to prevent influenza infection." - World Health Organization (WHO)

"There are many benefits from flu vaccination and preventing flu is always important, but in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s even more important to do everything possible to reduce illnesses and preserve scarce health care resources." - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Pertussis Vaccine (Whooping Cough)

- dated June 10, 2020

We are currently up to date on the necessary vaccines needed when working with a pregnant or newborn population including Pertussis Vaccine.

Pertussis (whooping cough) and the flu can be deadly to newborn babies and unlike medical professionals, photographers are not required to be vaccinated.  If you are concerned about having your baby handled by vaccinated individuals, then this is certainly a question to ask your photographer and photographer’s assistant ahead of time.

Believe it or not, from conception, your baby has beat the odds in making it into your arms healthy and happy. They are tiny miracles of life and love and hold generations of hope in their sweet little body. They may have been through the trauma of birth and are resting safely in your arms with love and reassurance. Please make sure that whomever you choose as your photographer respects the miracle of your baby and takes every precaution during your time together.

"You can provide indirect protection to your baby by making sure everyone who is around him is up to date with their whooping cough vaccine. When your baby’s family members and caregivers get a whooping cough vaccine they are not only protecting their own health, but also helping form a “cocoon” of disease protection around the baby during the first few months of life. Anyone who is around babies should be up-to-date with their whooping cough vaccine."

- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Encourage others to get a whooping cough vaccine at least 2 weeks before meeting your baby if they are not up-to-date with their whooping cough vaccines." - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Covid-19 Testing is crucial in the ongoing fight against Covid-19 in minimizing the number of suspected cases, flattening the curve can become faster through early detection.

We at Bearthside Photography & Films are very willing to undergo this procedure and take initiative to get tested only by licensed laboratory. Obtaining test result is the best way to ensure that we are always fit and healthy.  We repeat the test at least every 14 days.

As a mother, I understand every worry of parents especially in this time of pandemic. I make sure to strictly follow all the preventive measures and practice personal care at all times, to protect my child and my family as well. I take only limited number of Home Session bookings per month and only 2 to 3 bookings per week. Therefore I am able to keep on top of hygiene measures and thoroughly clean and disinfect all my props. Above all, I am committed to the highest standards in neonatal care, health and safety. Protecting my clients from illness, has ALWAYS been my #1 PRIORITY."
